Randy Young, Owner of Tranquil Waterscape Designs, has an unusual background for someone involved in the landscaping, or in particular, "Waterscaping " business.
· Undergraduate degree in engineering from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio
· MBA from Vanderbilt University
· Member of American Society for Quality
· Certified Quality Engineer
· Trained ISO 9000 and QS9000 Internal Auditor
He jokes that if Miami or Vanderbilt finds out he is "digging holes" for a living, they may want to take his degrees back!

Randy spent over 20 years in various manufacturing environments - from assembling automobiles, to first line supervisor, to executive management; always focusing on the use of Quality Management Systems and a better production process to meet the customer's expectations on time and for the least cost. He applies this same thought process in designing, installing, and servicing your water garden.

Tired of the "same old same old" and the travel and separation from family - Randy started his business so he could spend more time with his family and focus on conducting business the way he feels it should be done - provide the customer exceptional quality and service. He is able to provide this superior product and service due to his education and training in conjunction with fantastic pond products manufactured by Aquascape Designs. Being an engineer by education, Randy thoroughly researched the available pond products before he installed his own home water garden.
