TRANQUIL WATERSCAPE
DESIGNS BRINGS WATER GARDENS TO EPCOT® CENTER
(Franklin, Tennessee) –
Franklin based Tranquil Waterscape Designs, and a select
group of Certified Aquascape Contractors, traveled with
water garden product manufacturer Aquascape Designs to Walt
Disney World’s Epcot® Center for fourth year in a row to
showcase
 water
features. The Epcot® International Flower and Garden
Festival made a statement once again that water features are
hot and they’re here to stay by including them in the
exhibit.
This year’s task was to build
five water features overnight, while the park was closed.
The team worked for eight hours straight over night,
completing the work in three days. The water features
constructed were of varying shapes and sizes that included:
- 50’ Pondless® Waterfall
- 8’x6’ liner pond with a
frog spitter
- 8’x11’ pond kit
- Container water gardens
with ceramic pots and a compass fountain
- A custom 16’x12’ pond
was the highlight of the show.
“We’ve gotten to the point in
our relationship with Disney® that they basically give us
the run of the place,” Aquascape Designs President and CEO
Greg Wittstock said. “That’s almost unheard of!”
The team of elite contractors
was led by Aquascape Designs’ Vice President of Field
Research Ed Beaulieu; Construction Services Manager Brian
Helfrich; and
 Technical
Service Representative Tavia Tawney. Certified Aquascape
Contractors representing eleven companies made up the
hard-working crew members who deprived themselves of sleep
and installed the ponds. Certified Aquascape Contractors are
pond builders who install Aquascape Designs’ patented
ecosystem ponds. CAC’s are awarded certification based on
education, customer satisfaction, quality of service, and
continuing education credits. Tranquil Waterscape Designs,
LLC is the first and only company in Middle Tennessee to be
awarded the Certified Contractor recognition.

considering the phenomenal displays they construct.”
